Lavthaleshwar temple is a famous Shiva temple. It is located between Jejuri and Saswad. It is just on the left side of the road if you return from Jejuri to Pune. It is a simple temple. Nothing much to see. It is famous because Lord Shiva‘s famous prayer “Lavthavati Vikrala Brahmandi Mala” was written by Saint Ramdas Swami in this temple.
An idol of Naga (Cobra) is in front of the temple. Also, there is one more idol of an unknown deity.
Inside the temple, there is a Shiva lingam and Nandi. There is also a Lord Ganesh idol.
It takes less than 10 minutes to see the temple.
